Moonglade Recovery Community offers a specialized Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) designed to address the unique behavioral health needs of first responders. This program serves professionals routinely exposed to high-stress, life-threatening, and traumatic environments, including firefighters, law enforcement officers, paramedics, emergency medical technicians, nurses, physicians, and other frontline responders.

First responders experience elevated rates of trauma-related disorders, anxiety, depression, burnout, and substance use due to chronic occupational stress and repeated exposure to critical incidents. Moonglade Recovery Community’s First Responders Program provides structured, clinically intensive treatment tailored to these occupational and psychological demands.

The First Responders Program utilizes evidence-based, trauma-informed interventions designed to support symptom stabilization, emotional regulation, and functional recovery, including:

Individual psychotherapy focused on trauma exposure, occupational stress, identity concerns, and recovery planning
Group therapy addressing posttraumatic stress, cumulative trauma, emotional regulation, interpersonal functioning, and burnout
Evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed care frameworks
Clinical support for co-occurring substance use disorders when present
Case management services supporting treatment coordination, occupational considerations, and discharge planning

Clinical Indications
