Family-Inclusive Partial Hospitalization (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient (IOP) Program

Substance Use Disorder PHP & IOP Programs

Moonglade Recovery Community offers a Family-Inclusive Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) designed to address behavioral health conditions within the context of the family system. This program recognizes that mental health and substance use disorders often impact—and are influenced by—family dynamics, communication patterns, and relational stressors.

The Family Track integrates family participation into the treatment process to support symptom stabilization, improve treatment outcomes, and reduce relapse risk. Family involvement is clinically indicated when relational factors contribute to symptom maintenance, functional impairment, or barriers to recovery.

Clinical Focus and Treatment Approach

The Family Track incorporates evidence-based, systems-oriented interventions while maintaining the client as the primary focus of care. Clinical services include:
Family participation is structured, clinically guided, and tailored to treatment goals rather than informal or supportive visitation.

Clinical Indications

The Family Track is appropriate when family dynamics contribute to or are impacted by the client’s condition, including:
Clients must meet criteria for PHP or IOP level of care, and family involvement is determined based on clinical assessment and therapeutic appropriateness.

Therapeutic Environment and Outcomes

Our PHP/IOP program provides an integrated, clinically intensive environment focused on stabilization, skill-building, and seamless continuity of care.

The Recovery Environment

Moonglade Recovery Community facilitates family engagement within a clinically structured framework that prioritizes safety, accountability, and therapeutic boundaries. Family services are designed to strengthen support systems while reinforcing the client’s autonomy and responsibility for recovery.

Treatment Goals & Outcomes

The Family Track aims to improve symptom management, relational functioning, treatment adherence, and long-term outcomes. Discharge planning includes coordination with family members, outpatient providers, and community resources as clinically indicated.

Continuity of Care

This program supports continuity of care and enhances treatment effectiveness by addressing both individual and systemic factors contributing to behavioral health conditions, in alignment with payer expectations for medical necessity and evidence-based care.
