Moonglade Recovery Community is developing an Adolescent Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) designed to meet the behavioral health needs of children and adolescents under the age of 18. This planned program will provide structured, clinically intensive treatment for adolescents experiencing moderate to severe mental health conditions that significantly impact functioning at home, school, or within peer relationships.

The Adolescent Program is being designed in alignment with evidence-based pediatric behavioral health standards and will incorporate developmentally appropriate, family-inclusive, and trauma-informed treatment approaches.

Planned Clinical Focus and Treatment Approach

The planned Adolescent PHP/IOP program will offer comprehensive behavioral health services, including:

Individual psychotherapy tailored to developmental level and clinical presentation
Group therapy focused on emotional regulation, distress tolerance, interpersonal effectiveness, and coping skills
Family therapy sessions addressing communication, boundary-setting, and family system dynamics
Evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed care frameworks
Case management services supporting care coordination, academic considerations, and discharge planning

Treatment plans will be individualized and adjusted based on ongoing clinical assessment.

Planned Clinical Indications

The Adolescent PHP/IOP program is intended for youth experiencing moderate to severe behavioral health symptoms, including:

Mood and anxiety disorders
Trauma-related disorders
Emotional or behavioral dysregulation
Functional impairment affecting academic performance or family relationships
Co-occurring substance use concerns, when clinically appropriate

Admission criteria, level-of-care determinations, and safety protocols will be clearly defined prior to program launch.
